Dear Diary,
Just like the detox week, day zero was a prep day to set myself up for success! I identified anything throughout the week that may get in my way and I addressed it. I meal prepped, washed all gym clothes, placed things in areas so I don’t have to hunt for them. I also made sure my alerts and calendars were all up to date to assure I have time blocks for all that needs to get done. I’m ready for tomorrow!
Day 1

Dear Diary,
Today started and ended great. I feel like day one is usually like this because, you know, it’s day one- the hard part will come in the next few days. Luckily I didn’t feel tempted and I hit my fasting, steps, gym and macro goals for the day. One down 59 more to go!
Day 2

Dear Diary,
I always feel like day two and three are interestingly difficult days. You aren’t far enough to feel guilty about messing up, as you just started, why not start again? BUT they are significant enough that if you do get past them then it’s like you’re almost to the end of the week- keeping going!
Luckily for me I passed day two today with the same success as yesterday! Let’s get through one more day!
Day 3

Dear Diary,
I did it. I failed. I gave in to some sake with the husband when we went out for dinner. Now, I’m not happy with my decision but I cannot allow myself to dwell in it. All I can do is hope I can do better tomorrow and focus on staying consistent.
